Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy) / 2010

October 2010, Arch Enemy were headlining the Metal Female Voices Fest in Belgium. I got in contact with Angela about doing a photoshoot at the festival. She was immediately up for it!
Just an hour prior to the show, Angela arrived at the venue, so I thought it wouldn't go on anymore, until she came to shake hands in my photo studio in the backstage area.
The photoshoot was a great succes! I used two front lights and one back light. Thanks to the head of security, I was able to use this huge megaphone as well. Angela doesn't really need it, but it definitely gives more power to the picture.
We did different poses for about ten minutes, I showed her the results and Ms. Gossow was more than pleased. She was actually so pleased, that one of the photos appeared on the cover of two leading magazines in the metal industry.
Such a remarkable woman. You wouldn't tell by the picture, but she's a complete sweetheart. Arch Enemy for the win !
